Replacement Policy of Bookish Santa

At Bookish Santa, we try our best to provide you with optimum reading and buying experience. Before dispatch, we check each of the products thoroughly so that you get the products in the condition you have ordered. However, we can not rule out the possibility of damage to the product in transit (we try to minimize the same by packing the books properly and padding them with bubble wraps). Therefore, any product you have received which either has a manufacturing defect is damaged in transit or is not up to the mark in terms of quality is eligible for replacement. Once a ticket for replacement is raised, we will ship you another copy of the same product and will arrange the pickup of the defective product from your location. 

How can I raise a replacement request?

Once you have received a defective product, you can reach out to us at support@bookishsanta.com or WhatsApp us on +91-8595696910 within 48 hours of receipt of the product. Do mention the reason for such request and also provide us photos of the defect for quick redressal. 

We will inspect your request and approve the replacement request, and detailed information shall be provided to you regarding the pickup and reshipment of your product. We promise that it will involve minimum hassle and will not be troublesome.

How can I return a product I ordered erroneously? 

If you have ordered a product which you do not require anymore, you can also return the same to us. Again, in such cases, any request for return shall be entertained only if the same has been raised within 48 hours of receipt of the product. You can reach out to us at support@bookishsanta.com or WhatsApp us on +91-8595696910 with your return request and we shall take it forward from there. 

In case you are applying for a return, please note that the actual cost of shipping to and from your location shall be borne by you and you will be eligible to receive the balance amount thereafter. Also, such refunds shall be processed only after the original product has been received by us in our warehouse.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

  • Book with obvious signs of use, items damaged and torn, physical damage, and new books that have been opened.
  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item that is returned more than 2 days after delivery

 

How can I cancel the order placed on Bookish Santa?

If for some reason, you want to cancel your order from Bookish Santa, you can reach out to us at support@bookishsanta.com or WhatsApp us on +91-8595696910 before the order is shipped. If the order has been shipped already, unfortunately, we can not cancel your order and you have to place a return request as mentioned above. 

Please note that a processing charge of 2.5% of the order value shall be levied on the cancelled order to cover our payment gateway charges. The same shall be waived off if you agree to receive the refund amount in the form of gift cards. Gift cards never expire and can be redeemed on any of your future purchases.

What are the refund policies of Bookish Santa?

The following points cover our refund policy:

  • Full refund if we could not dispatch the product or a product is out of stock with the vendor.
  • A partial refund (after deduction of actual shipping costs) in case you have returned the item purchased.
  • A partial refund (after 2.5% deduction of payment gateway charges) if you cancel an order before it is shipped. This levy can be waived off in case, the refund is granted in the form of a Gift Card.

Once the refund request is approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 10-15 days depending on the time taken by our payment gateway providers and banking channels.

 For refunds where the original payment method is Cash on Delivery, refunds shall be provided only in the form of Gift Cards. You can use these later at checkout while placing your next order with us.

How can I return or replace items purchased during the sale?

We keep on organizing different sales from time to time on social media, Telegram & WhatsApp groups. Before placing any such order during the sale, you can message us for more details of such products. Any item purchased in such a sale is not eligible for replacement or refund.
