About: The latest issue of Kinfolk revisits one of our most popular subjects: work and the entrepreneurial spirit. Alongside our regular mix of thoughtful lifestyle content, we dedicate the pages of a new section to finding out what makes a job meaningful and why qualities such as ambition, passion and motivation can lead to a balanced quality of life. What is Kinfolk magazine? Delving deeply into home, work, style and culture, Kinfolk promotes quality of life and connects a global community of creative professionals from London to Tokyo. Since 2011, Kinfolk has become a leading lifestyle authority with a dynamic mix of print and online media, including a quarterly magazine sold in over 100 countries in four languages, daily posts on Kinfolk.com, bestselling books, plus international events and a gallery space in the heart of Copenhagen. Who are the readers of Kinfolk? Photographers, Designers, Editors, Creative professionals and lots of Stylists. What is so exclusive about Kinfolk? Kinfolk has been praised for its clean design and photographic aesthetic. Focuses on home, work, play, food and community through photo essays, recipes, interviews, profiles, personal stories and practical tips. Who are the makers of Kinfolk? Kinfolk was created by Nathan Williams, Doug Bischoff and their friends. Why do you work in magazines? Kinfolk originally was a project with myself and a few friends. When we first started working on the magazine the core focus was more on food, shared meals, the idea of gathering around a table and sharing ideas with likeminded individuals. But after a few issues we restructured the editorial scope, and shifted away from food and dinner tables, and really just started exploring that idea of quality of life. For us, we've focused on that idea of slow living.
